Ledbury & the Local Area

Ledbury is a historic market town close to the Malvern Hills. The picturesque Market House and cobbled Church Lane are much photographed. The High Street has an excellent range of delightful independent shops and plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Ledbury is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, with Eastnor Castle on the doorstep and the Malvern Hills, Tewkesbury and its abbey and Ross-on-Wye within 20 minutes drive. The historic cathedral cities of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester and the elegant spa town of Cheltenham are within 30-40 minutes by car.

A little further afield, but within easy reach, are the Wye Valley (Symonds Yat, Goodrich Castle, Tintern Abbey and the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye), the Forest of Dean, and Chepstow Castle.

"This was our second visit, every bit as good as the first time. Would rate this as the best B&B we have ever stayed at. We certainly hope to go back next year. Many thanks Jane and John for looking after us so well."
